On August 11, 2026, xAI launched Grok Bot: AI agents that get their own cloud computer — a real browser, file system, and terminal — and keep working after you close yours. The same month, SAP shipped SAP Business One 2608.
We connected the two with TEKAI and gave Grok Bot one prompt. No RPA, no macros, no scripts. Then we watched.
(Recorded against our demo database in August 2026, during the Grok Bot beta. Details may change.)
A chatbot answers inside the chat window and stops when you close it. Grok Bot is built differently: you create named bots, message them like colleagues, and hand off work. Each bot runs on its own dedicated machine, works inside real tools, and comes back only when something needs approval. It supports MCP connectors — which is where TEKAI comes in. TEKAI is an MCP server that connects AI assistants to live SAP Business One data, SQL or HANA, grounded in the database and never trained on it.
One thing up front: there is no free tier. Grok Bot access requires SuperGrok Heavy at $300/month or Cursor Ultra at $200/month. We come back to what that means at the end.
From a single instruction, the bot ran a complete procurement cycle on its own — logging into the SAP Business One Web Client and working the way a purchasing officer would:
No human touched SAP Business One at any point. The full run, from the prompt to the WhatsApp message, is in the video above.
RPA and macros replay recorded clicks; they break when a screen changes and they can’t decide anything. What ran here is an agent making judgment calls — which items qualify, which vendor to assign, how to group quotations — against live ERP data, and leaving an audit trail while doing it. Grok Bot brings the machine and the autonomy; TEKAI brings the connection to your SAP Business One. The “how it works” section of the video (4:41) shows how the pieces fit.
For most of our customers: not yet. Three reasons.
Price. $300 a month before you’ve touched SAP. TEKAI — the entire SAP Business One integration — is ₹5,000 per company per month in India, $150 globally. The agent platform costs more than the connection to your ERP.
Maturity. Grok Bot is a beta measured in weeks. What ran cleanly in our demo may behave differently next month, which is why everything here is date-stamped.
Governance. An agent that creates Purchase Requests and edits the Item Master on its own is not a toy. It needs approval workflows, authorization limits, and an IT team that has thought about credentials and audit. We run demos like this against a demo database only. So should you.
What the demo does prove is bigger than one product: a full SAP Business One process can now be executed end-to-end by an AI agent through one connection layer. The same server already backs Claude on SAP Business One and ChatGPT on SAP Business One. And now Grok’s bots — setup steps are in our Grok guide.
When your team is ready for agents, your ERP already is.
TEKAI connects six AI assistants to your existing SAP Business One — SQL or HANA, no reimplementation, bring your own AI subscription. Book a live demo and we’ll run a cycle like this against your data, or call +91 9700 363636.
